Welcome First Grade Families!
Thank you for your support during this unprecedented time. Thank you all for coming together during this difficult time. In our history books we read about historical events all the time. Imagine what is currently happening in the world around us, we are a part of history. This is an opportunity to be a recorder of history and share learning opportunities with our students virtually.
We wanted to update you on our current plan in terms of e-learning and learning from home for our students. When a school closure appeared to be imminent, the Camras faculty worked hard to put together meaningful activities to continue the learning for students in their classes. We have been collaborating as a First Grade Team to make remote learning plans for our first grade students.
The first grade team has prepared materials for students to work on during remote learning. This is currently scheduled until November 9 with classes scheduled to resume to the hybrid model following careful reevaluation by Chicago Public Schools. Materials will be available to access via Google Classroom for completion daily. A link for Google Classroom has been shared with each of the students and can be accessed through the students’ CPS email accounts.
Throughout this time that we are physically apart, please feel free to contact your students' classroom teachers via email or School CNXT.
We are working hard to navigate this evolving situation on behalf of our Camras' students. As always, we will be in frequent communication with you and we welcome your inquiries. Thank you again to all of the members of our community for pulling together at this challenging time. We hope you all are staying safe and healthy during this time. We look forward to seeing all Camras students back at school very soon!
